This CD, recorded in 1998, was released on Burton's label at the time, but all involved are considered co-leaders: Gary Burton (vibes), Pat Metheny (guitars), Chick Corea (piano), Dave Holland (bass), and Roy Haynes (drums). There's a lot of history behind this collaboration. It's essentially Pat Metheny's early 90s trio - Metheny, Holland, Haynes (check them out on the Pat Metheny CD, " Question and Answer") meets the famous duet team of Burton and Corea ("Crystal Silence," etc.). But the associations don't stop there. Pat Metheny got his first big break in 1974 when Gary Burton invited him to join
