A 1965 compilation album of Muddy Waters recordings, released on the Chess record in January 1965. The album was the first release of The Real Folk Blues series (a series of blues albums released between 1965 and 1967 by Chess Records; ncluding John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and Sonny Boy Williamson II), features some of Waters' first recordings - recorded September 1947 – 1964 in Chicago.
