Light as a Feather is the second studio album of fusion band Return to Forever, led by pianist Chick Corea. It was recorded in October 8 and 15, 1972 at I.B.C. Sound Recording Studios, London, England and released by Polydor in 1973. All tracks were composed by Corea with lyrics by Neville Potter, except "Light as a Feather" composed by Clarke with lyrics by Purim. The first track is Corea's song, "You're Everything". Light as a Feather is the first studio album credited to jazz band Return to Forever led by keyboardist Chick Corea. It features saxophonist/flautist Joe Farrell, bassist Stanley Clarke, vocalist Flora Purim and her husband, drummer/percussionist Airto Moreira, who all performed on Corea's previous album Return to Forever, from which the group took its name.
